Traits

Short hair may be anything from a short, velvety covering of fur to a couple centimeters long depending on the creature.

Long haired creatures have hair that can be several inches long or more. It may be longer on some parts of the body than others. These creatures are often well suited to colder environments.

Creatures with no body covering are hairless, like a sphynx cat.

• Markings can show on the skin of these creatures.
• Furry/scaly/feathery traits may still have their intended covering if preferred.
• Enchantments that add fur, scales etc will still apply them where indicated (such as feathering adding some fur to the legs)
• The skin may be smooth or wrinkly

These creatures have curly or crimped hair. This could be short, curly hair, such as found in Devon Rex cats. It also could be dense and puffy like a sheep or poodle.

The creature's body is covered in scales. The scales don't need to be individually depicted, show as much or as little detail as you prefer.

The creature is covered in feathers.

This trait may appear in many different ways, below are some examples but this is not a restrictive list:

• A line of spikes extending down from the head and along the back
• Bone spikes
• Spikes all over the body, like a porcupine
• Spikes of natural or unnatural shapes

The body is covered with tough, bony plates.
