New Moon Flower

Miscellaneous
The sacred herb of the Tsukimi, used in many important rituals.

The New Moon Flower is an unusual flower that only blooms at night, in the absense of the moon's light. Tsukimi tribes roaming Tehmos share in the burden of tending to these sacred sites where the plant thrives and can be harvested periodically.

The New Moon Flower itself is vital to the Tsukimi reproductive process. Tsukimi have their own methods for consuming the flower, most often by distilling the petals, pollen and other parts of the flower to obtain a tinture that can be consumed at a convenient time. The leaves and stems of the plants are also used to make various medicinal salves and ointments.
